Detection of estrogen receptor-β in the cell nucleus of human GnRH neurons

Immunohistochemical studies use perfusion-fixed rodent and immersion-fixed human tissue samples. The figure illustrates results of double-label immunohistochemical experiments which revealed estrogen receptor-β immunoreactivity (black nuclear signal) in human GnRH neurons (brown cytoplasmic stain).
