Electrophysiological properties are key features of neurons.
We use patch-clamp electrophysiology on in vitro brain slices to study the electrophysiological properties, regulation and connectivity of hypothalamic cells regulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis and the energy homeostasis.
