We held the internal defence of Zsuzsi's PhD thesis last week, the title of her thesis is: Synaptic properties of perisomatic inhibitory cells in cortical structures.
Zsuzsi's paper was accepted in The Journal of Physiology
We are delighted to announce that Zsuzsi's first authored paper was accepted for publication in The Journal of Physiology. This paper serves as the backbone of her PhD thesis. The co-authors are Filippo, Rita, Judit, Tibi and Norbert. Congratulations!
Bence's paper was accepted in Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience
Bence's study about amygdala-prefrontal cortex innervation by cholinergic neurons was accepted in the journal Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience. This publication will serve as the basis of his PhD thesis, congratulations! :)
Petra Nagy-Pál published her first first-author paper in The Journal of Neuroscience
At the end of the summer our article “Structural organisation of perisomatic inhibition in the mouse medial prefrontal cortex” was accepted by The Journal of Neuroscience. This paper is the backbone of Petra’s PhD work and sets her up for the defence of her PhD. This work was done by many past and present lab members: Judit, Zsuzsi, Rita, Filippo, Bence, Zsófi and Norbert contributed to this beautiful anatomical study about the perisomatic inhibitory cells in the prefrontal cortex. Congratulations! J
Zsuzsanna Fekete published her first co-first author paper in the Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience
A long journey (with many ups and downs) has ended this summer when we managed to publish our study with the title “Fear learning and aversive stimuli differentially change excitatory synaptic transmission in perisomatic inhibitory cells of the basal amygdala”. Judit, Zsuzsi, Kinga, Tibi, Laura, Bence, Orsi and Norbert contributed to this study. Congratulations! J
