In situ hybridization detection of neurons expressing RF-amide related peptide and GnRH mRNAs in the human hypothalamus
Human brain tissues collected shortly post mortem are compatible with in situ hybridization experiments. Figures illustrate autoradiographic in situ hybridization signal to RF-amide related peptide (RFRP) mRNA in the hypothalamic periventricular nucleus (left) and non-isotopic in situ hybridization signal to GnRH mRNA in the human putamen (right).
