The 10 unit provides often used technologies for the research groups. 
Based on the evaluation of the National Research Infrastructure Committee, the electron microscopy and light microscopy center was awarded the "Excellent Infrastructure Network" title in 2024 as the "HUN-REN KOKI Microscopy Center." This designation entitles the center to use the trademark. The aim of the network is to support research in neuroscience and the life sciences with world-class light and electron microscopy instrumentation and expertise; to promote brain research and its importance from secondary school age onward; to provide mentoring that supports the scientific advancement of university students in higher education; and to participate in the implementation of high-quality PhD and postdoctoral research projects in both the domestic and international arenas.
